Opting into Text Messages
By opting into any Tech4Research projects, you expressly consent to receive text messages from any of our research project that may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, by or on behalf of Tech4Research, at the cell phone number you provide us. By voluntarily providing your cell phone number to Tech4Research project, you consent to receive transactional, operational, or informational text messages at that phone number, including but not limited to survey reminder, wellness check-in, motivational messages and appointment reminder. Message frequency varies on the research you participate in and will not exceed after the research is conluded. Please note we may not be able to deliver messages to all mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and you understand and agree that all text messages may be sent using automated technology. Message and Data rates may apply.
How to Opt Out and Get Help
To stop receiving text messages from any Tech4Research project, you agree to reply STOP to the number sending the message. After replying STOP, you may receive additional communications confirming that your request has been received and processed, and you may continue to receive text messages for a short period while Tech4Research processes your request(s). Limitation of Liability
Tech4Research and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Tech4Research and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
Severability
